Partnerships with leading pearl farmers have evolved into deep friendships, enabling Gellner to secure the finest quality pearls for Europe. Thanks to Gellner’s exceptional innovative spirit, the pearl market is continually being revitalised with fresh ideas.
Yet the fascination of a pearl cannot be explained by quality or origin alone. Gellner describes what makes pearls unique as »The Spirit of Pearls«. It is that special aura which touches something within people that defies rational explanation. Gellner has dedicated its »Soulmates« campaign to this concept. Gellner Pearl Atelier
Gellner operates one of the few pearl workshops outside Asia in its fully autonomous manufacturing facility. In the pearl workshop, every single pearl is inspected and sorted according to its intended use. Whether used in its purest form in a Gellner necklace – be it monochrome, in the finest gradients or in vibrant multicolours – or as the centrepiece in selected jewellery creations.
A keen eye, a sure aesthetic instinct and years of experience in attending to the finest details give rise to Gellner’s signature aesthetic. The pearl workshop brings together all the expertise that Gellner has continuously built up over decades.
Gellner Manufactory
Its independent manufactory gives Gellner the freedom to create without compromise and forms the foundation of the brand‘s distinctive design language and spirit of innovation. From the first sketch to the finished creation, every piece bears a design signature that reinterprets the pearl in fascinating new ways. Internationally renowned jewellery and design awards continue to recognise Gellner‘s work for its innovation and forward-thinking approach. At the heart of every creation is the pearl itself. Rather than asking the pearl to serve the design, Gellner designs each piece to follow and celebrate the pearl‘s natural beauty.
